NZ Marketing has been refreshed, redesigned and relaunched! Now owned by HB Media, the people who bring you the much awarded Idealog and Good magazines.
NZ Marketing has expanded to become new Zealand’s only dedicated channel for marketing and communication professionals. It’s now the official magazine of the new Zealand marketing association. Into its 18th year, NZ Marketing is also one of the country’s most venerable and trusted business media brands.
NZ Marketing now consists of:

Editorial profile
The re-launched NZ Marketing magazine contains three major changes in its content:
- Design-led HB Media’s talented design team has created an elegant, easy-to-read, contemporary journal
- Broader The magazine now covers marketing and communications in its wider sense, including the advertising and communications disciplines, ensuring the magazine becomes a one-stop-shop for marketing, advertising and media professionals.
- Punchier The new NZ Marketing is more journalistic, in-depth and practical than its predecessor with a renewed focused on facts, people, case studies and data.

The new NZ Marketing combines the best of the past with some new content:- Personality profiles The back story and insights of our leading marketing and communications personalities
- Issues Investigations into the challenges facing the industry, including technological and business change, talent and HR management, economic trends, government regulation and business strategy

- DLB NZ Marketing is now the official magazine of the NZ Marketing Association. Every issue of NZ Marketing will contain an 8-page DLB, the NZ Marketing Association’s member magazine
- Promotional features The magazine will continue to offer special advertising features, directories and guides to create an important resource for readers and to give context for advertisers to promote services

Broader readership
In keeping with the magazine’s broader editorial focus and wider target audience, NZ Marketing has a much stronger subscription and distribution base. From the Sept/Oct issue NZ Marketing became the official magazine of the NZ Marketing Association with all corporate members of the NZMA becoming paid subscribers. The magazine is also distributed free to all advertising and media agency professionals who, combined, specify over $2 billion per annum in marketing spend.
Revised distribution NZ Marketing magazine now reaches:
- All existing NZ Marketing subscribers: 3,328*
- All corporate members of the NZ Marketing Association: 650 companies as paid subscribers
